Guidelines for Happy Camping

Our guest's safety is our first priority! Our rules and regulations are set forth to ensure the safety of all our guests, please be safe and enjoy your stay. Violations of rules may result in immediate eviction without warning or refund. You must understand and agree to abide by these rules and regulations in their entirety upon check in and during your entire stay.

Rates, seasons, holidays, rules and policies are subject to change without notice. We strive to have a family oriented and fun environment. Please help us by following the rules below.

General Guidelines

Please be respectful of other guests. Please do not intrude on another camper's site or dock. Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am. Appropriate language and acceptable clothing must be maintained at all times. Please keep fire pits clean and free of refuse. Please do not burn cans, bottles or plastic. Do not move fire-pits. All fires are to be extinguished if not attended. No bon-fires permitted on sites. Please keep fires low during windy, dry conditions. Burn bans must be observed or you are responsible for paying the fine imposed by the county. Fireworks /firearms including BB guns are NOT permitted in the campground. Camping units equipped with washing/dryer machines may not be used in the campground. A laundry facility is available at the bath house. Commercial photography/video is often conducted. You may appear in pictures/videos that may be used in advertising. Registering at our campground constitutes your consent for us to use any pictures or videos we deem appropriate without payment, inspection or review. No cutting or damaging or defacing any trees, tables or property belonging to the campground. No chainsaws permitted to be used in the campground.

Visitors

Visitors may not enter the campground until they are registered in the office and appropriate fees are paid. A gate card will be given to them to gain entry in exchange for their driver's license. Visitors may not bring pets with them. Visiting hours are the same as our store hours. Visitors must exit the campground before the store closes to exchange their gate card for their license. Visitors staying less than 30 minutes who return their pass and gate card to the office before the time listed on their pass, will receive a refund. Gate cards are for your use only.

Vehicles

The speed limit throughout the property is 5 mph. For the safety of our guests you must abide by this or walk. Additional vehicles or trailers that cannot fit on your campsite may need to purchase additional parking for a nightly fee. Go carts, ATV's, and motorcycles are not to be driven in the campground other than entering/leaving the property. They may not be driven during quiet hours. All golf carts must be registered upon arrival. Cars/trucks/campers MAY NOT be washed in the campground.

Children

Young children need to be supervised by an adult at all times. Playgrounds are closed during quiet hours. Children must be with an adult after quiet hours and may not be left unattended. Bicycle riders under 12 must wear a helmet. Bikes must be returned to site before dusk. No bike riding after dusk.

Pets

Current rabies info is required for all pets entering the property. Pets are not permitted on the playgrounds, spray-park, pool, store, pavilions, or recreation/game rooms. All pets must be walked on a leash by an adult. All droppings must be picked up immediately. Pets may not be left alone on your site. If left alone inside your camper, they must wear a bark collar. Barking dogs will be removed.

The Lake

No swimming in the lake. Catch & Release fishing only. Registered campers do not need a PA fishing license. Fines imposed for each fish kept. Live minnows are not permitted as bait in the lake. All boats brought into the campground must be registered upon arrival. All boats must be secured by a lock when not in use. No gas motors permitted. Life jackets or floatation devices are required to be in the boat for each adult. Anyone under 16 must wear a life-jacket while in the boat.

Swimming Pool

Our Pool and recreation area is for registered guests and registered visitors only, no exceptions. The pool is closed during bad weather. Pool hours are typically from 10AM until 9PM. We reserve the right to refuse admittance into our swimming facility when the capacity of the pool has been reached or when otherwise deemed necessary for the health, welfare or safety of our patrons. No running or horseplay in or around our pool. There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. An adult must accompany and directly supervise all children 14 and under. No pets are allowed in our pool or recreation areas. No food or glass containers are allowed at the pool or recreation areas. Swimmers who need diapers must use diapers designed for pool use. Diapers must be changed in designated diaper changing area or restrooms. If you have a communicable disease that can be transmitted by water or have been ill with diarrhea or vomiting in the last two weeks, please do not use our pool. Swimmers with seizure, heart or circulatory problems are advised to swim with a buddy.

Alcohol

Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted. Excessive drinking, underage drinking, intoxication, or drug use will NOT be tolerated, and are grounds for immediate eviction without a refund. Kegs are not permitted.

Trash

Chairs, grills, carpets, etc may not be placed in the dumpster. You brought them in, please take them home. All cardboard boxes are to be placed beside the dumpster. Trash is to be placed inside the dumpsters. We currently do not offer recycling.
